The SA Air Force Fund has no option but to increase daily rates for accommodation at all out flats due to the following reasons: |

|
a. An increase in electricity and water cost by 10-15%. |
|
| b. Rates and Taxes in some areas have increased by 40%. |
|
| c. Body Corporate levies increased by 10-12%. |
|
| d. Maintenance costs have escalated by 15% on average. |
|
| e. Caretaker remuneration. |
|
| f. Laundry and cleaning services have increased by 30%. |
|
| g. Upgrading of flats come at high cost. |
|
| h. The cost of furniture, cutlery etc has increased by 10% on average. |
|
| i. Increased TV hiring and license cost. |
|
